Base Salary
$134k - $201k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-processor multimedia and AI frameworks spanning CPU, DSP, and NPU processors.
- Develop high-performance drivers and runtime libraries for specialized DSP and AI hardware.
- Profile and optimize system performance using DSP architecture and microarchitecture-level techniques for low latency and low power.
- Collaborate with hardware, tools, and firmware teams on design trade-offs, custom instructions, and performance improvements.
- Integrate and test software on target devices and support commercialization with global teams, OEM customers, and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree plus 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.
- Significant experience with C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems, driver development, and computer architecture.
- Experience optimizing software on resource-constrained platforms.
- Experience with embedded software, operating systems, high-performance processor architecture, multi-core and multi-threaded systems, and caching.
- Experience with PCIe or Windows MCDM/WDDM driver stacks is preferred.
