Responsibilities
- Design and implement risk-based testing approaches across UI, API, and data layers.
- Build and maintain automated UI and API test suites while reducing manual regression testing.
- Identify quality risks, validate high-risk areas, support defect root-cause analysis, and improve release confidence.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and define practical smoke and regression execution approaches.
- Partner with developers and DevOps teams to embed testing alongside code and support stable releases.
- Establish testing standards, review test quality in pull requests, and promote shared ownership of quality.
- Apply and evaluate AI-assisted tools for test generation, test data creation, defect triage, and risk-based prioritization.
Requirements
- Hands-on technical capability in software quality engineering, test design, and automation.
- Experience testing web, backend, API-driven, data, and integration-focused systems.
- Ability to create structured test strategies aligned with system risk and business impact.
- Experience improving test reliability, maintainability, execution speed, and release feedback.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, engineering, and DevOps teams and influence delivery practices.
- Experience with Playwright or a similar test automation framework.
- Ability to evaluate AI-assisted testing tools and demonstrate measurable productivity improvements.
