Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, maintenance, and integration of secure full-stack enterprise web applications.
- Develop scalable, high-volume, low-latency Java and cloud-based applications.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution approaches.
- Oversee and contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and software development best practices.
- Support deployment across environments and apply security, privacy, and resilient design principles throughout the SDLC.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues to maintain system stability and business continuity.
- Promote modern SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, testing automation, and release management practices.
- Contribute to microservices-based and event-driven architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 15+ years of software development experience with significant front-end and back-end engineering expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle/RDBMS and SQL, with familiarity with NoSQL or unstructured databases.
- Deep understanding of JVM internals, memory management, performance testing, and tuning.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures and event-driven messaging systems.
- Strong experience with SDLC and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and related engineering tools.
- Proven ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production support issues.
- Ability to lead cross-functional engineering efforts in a complex enterprise environment.
