Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and features that improve security for Vinted members.
- Contribute to cross-functional team and domain-level technical initiatives.
- Transform large monoliths into smaller, component-based services to promote team autonomy.
- Develop mechanisms to prevent and mitigate malicious actors.
- Monitor and ensure the reliability of production code.
- Collaborate with engineers, share knowledge, and help shape technical solutions affecting millions of members.
Requirements
- Hands-on work experience in software development or operations at scale.
- Cybersecurity experience is a bonus.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Commitment to clean, maintainable, accurate, and high-quality code.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Awareness of current AI solutions and ability to select appropriate tools to improve work effectiveness.
