Responsibilities
- Lead the complete knowledge graph and AI solution scope for strategic and complex client programs.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable language model, semantic-layer, ontology, and graph-based ML solutions.
- Lead and develop engineering teams, mentor junior staff, and establish technical standards and methods.
- Partner with project leaders, delivery leads, engineering, research, product, and senior client stakeholders across multiple teams and time zones.
- Make and defend business cases for semantic-layer and knowledge graph solutions at the executive level.
- Lead sales and pre-sales efforts, shape data transformation programs, and build trusted client-advisor relationships.
- Drive thought leadership, innovation, reusable asset development, and adoption of new and agentic technologies.
- Design and optimize data storage, retrieval, processing workflows, model training pipelines, and evaluation systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience is required, including stated experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 15 years of full-time education are required; a Ph.D. in a related technical field is listed as a qualification.
- At least 6 years of experience with knowledge graph technologies including RDF, SPARQL, LPG, and SHACL, plus schema design, ontology management, and knowledge graph curation.
- At least 4 years designing and developing knowledge graph solutions and graph-based ML models, and at least 3 years implementing end-to-end AI data pipelines.
- At least 6 years of experience with relational, object, graph, and vector databases, including Stardog, Neo4j, and Amazon Neptune.
- At least 6 years of managerial experience leading people, with experience communicating semantic-layer and knowledge graph value to senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience in sales or pre-sales, data transformation program delivery, team development, client-facing consulting, NLP or search techniques, prompt engineering, and enterprise-scale LLM applications.
- At least 5 years of hands-on cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- At least 5 years of Python experience, including frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch and ETL tools such as Apache NiFi and Airflow.
- Broad experience with diverse ML techniques, agentic systems, neural network architectures, large-scale datasets, and language model training and evaluation.
- Strong collaboration, influencing, advisory, and problem-solving skills across multiple teams.
