Responsibilities
- Build and maintain highly parallelized infrastructure that personalizes and sends billions of emails monthly.
- Process associated email reporting data and develop REST APIs for managing and tracking user subscriptions.
- Build web pages for end users to manage preferences and dashboards for configuring customer email domains.
- Develop new features, improve performance, and optimize systems for resilience as they scale.
- Architect new iterations of critical system components and provide guidance on key architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with teammates, provide technical guidance, and contribute to improving engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience as a technical leader.
- Strong understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working in a team environment with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred experience building software at scale.
- Preferred professional experience with Ruby, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, Postgres, Ruby on Rails, or React.
- Experience with agile processes is a bonus.
