Responsibilities
- Assess Samsara software, code, and firmware for resilience against AI-driven and adversarial attacks and implement fixes.
- Translate AI security findings into application, hardware, and embedded-firmware security improvements.
- Build, pressure-test, and drive adoption of AI-enabled security tools and workflows.
- Conduct offensive validation and red-team exercises involving LLMs, agentic workflows, prompt injection, and adversarial testing.
- Partner with engineering, hardware, and senior leadership on AI-related security risk and threat modeling.
- Define and advance Samsara’s strategy for safe and effective AI adoption in security operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in application security, vulnerability management, threat modeling, offensive security, or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated application-fix impact and broad organizational influence.
- Hands-on experience applying AI and LLM tools to security workflows through APIs, agents, or automation.
- Experience conducting technical security assessments across software and hardware or firmware environments.
- Experience creating secure-code solutions with engineers using languages such as Go.
- Experience developing AI and agentic solutions using GitHub and AWS.
- Experience with AI-specific attack techniques, agentic AI, RAG systems, or LLM-integrated security controls is preferred.
- Experience driving organization-wide security strategy or presenting technical findings to senior or executive stakeholders is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, CISSP, or AWS certifications are preferred.
