Responsibilities
- Operate, triage, troubleshoot, and tune Samsara’s enterprise endpoint security and visibility environment.
- Improve endpoint security tools and workflows using incident learnings and real usage patterns.
- Write documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Security, and Security Operations teams on security tools, policies, investigations, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
- Mentor Security team engineers on domain knowledge, tool-specific skills, and communication.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact.
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining endpoint security and visibility tools at enterprise scale, such as CrowdStrike or osquery.
- Exposure to an additional enterprise security tool stack such as SASE, zero trust systems, email security, DLP, or IAM.
- Experience scripting and debugging with Python and using SOAR platforms.
- Ability to evaluate security severity and business impact independently, with a track record of impactful cross-team delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include breadth across endpoint security, EDR, passive telemetry, threat intelligence integrations, cloud and containerized environments, CrowdStrike, Mimecast Incydr, Splunk, Terraform, and AI-driven automation.
