Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, and model development.
  • Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business or user-area needs.
  • Monitor and control application development phases, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
  • Provide user and operational support for applications.
  • Analyze complex application-development problems and evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
  • Recommend and develop security measures through post-implementation analysis of business usage.
  • Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend advanced programming solutions.
  • Install and assist with customer exposure systems.
  • Help define and maintain essential procedures, operating standards, and processes.
  • Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
  • Assess and manage technology, compliance, and control risks in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Java.
  • Experience with systems analysis and Java programming for software applications.
  • Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
