Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and participate in discussions with business and functional teams.
- Perform impact analyses, contribute to solution design, and write functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET and COBOL across distributed and IBM Mainframe environments.
- Design and execute unit tests and participate in qualification, integration, regression, and functional acceptance testing.
- Monitor production applications and analyze and resolve application anomalies and batch-processing incidents.
- Contribute to the operational maintenance, reliability, and modernization of critical payment applications.
Requirements
- Significant experience in application analysis and development.
- Demonstrated dual expertise in C#/.NET and COBOL/Mainframe environments.
- Experience with IBM, z/OS, DB2, JCL, batch processing, SQL, and transactional application environments.
- Experience in payments, payment methods, banking, or transaction-processing systems is advantageous.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
- Strong analytical ability, rigor, autonomy, and capacity to understand complex application systems.
