Responsibilities
- Support and develop tools for Apple’s CoreOS organization.
- Debug software across Macintosh systems throughout development, including live debugging.
- Work with software-related teams to root-cause and fix issues.
- Develop debugging tools and new software functionality.
- Help ensure BIOS, firmware, operating systems, diagnostics, and tools work correctly across Macintosh products.
Requirements
- Have software development and debugging experience on at least one platform.
- Have development or debugging experience with EFI BIOS, Linux kernel development, embedded-controller firmware, Solaris, UNIX, Windows, or Mac OS X.
- Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
- Relevant PC industry experience involving notebook, desktop, server platforms, or embedded systems is preferred.
- Demonstrate ambition, willingness to take responsibility, passion for the work, and strong teamwork.
