Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
  • Own applications and services end to end by delivering production-ready, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Design and implement enterprise-scale data processing solutions using big data technologies.
  • Develop and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis of application and system failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices and development standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to AI/ML initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices to improve software delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience includes AI/ML, generative AI, graph analytics, anomaly detection, data lake and data warehouse applications, and Medallion Architecture.
  • Preferred industry experience includes banking and financial services, risk and compliance, AML, and fraud detection and prevention.
  • Preferred certifications include Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Data Analytics Specialty, and Databricks Data Engineer Professional.
