Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Own applications and services end to end by delivering production-ready, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale data processing solutions using big data technologies.
- Develop and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Perform root cause analysis of application and system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices and development standards.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to AI/ML initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices to improve software delivery efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes AI/ML, generative AI, graph analytics, anomaly detection, data lake and data warehouse applications, and Medallion Architecture.
- Preferred industry experience includes banking and financial services, risk and compliance, AML, and fraud detection and prevention.
- Preferred certifications include Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Data Analytics Specialty, and Databricks Data Engineer Professional.
