Responsibilities
- Design and implement features robust enough for our exploding scale.
- Drive the implementation of new features by breaking down complex problems.
- Create and maintain test automation for continuous integration.
- Design and deliver REST APIs for client applications and backend services.
- Collaborate and mentor other engineers through code and design reviews.
- Work cross-functionally with teams including data science, design, and product.
- Leverage a broad skill set to implement and learn new technologies quickly.
- Debug production issues across services infrastructure.
- Focus on producing high-quality code in distributed systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with databases like DynamoDB, MySQL, and ElasticSearch.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
- Skilled in developing and executing functional and integration tests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in software development.
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservice architecture is a strong plus.
