Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate data pipelines using Airflow/Composer and BigQuery.
- Own end-to-end data models and transformations for analytics and reporting.
- Build and maintain embedded analytics infrastructure for merchants.
- Evolve the data platform on GCP, including BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
- Improve data quality and reliability through testing and validation frameworks.
- Manage data lineage, metadata, and documentation for clarity and standardization.
- Collaborate with product, ML, and GTM teams on technical direction.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in building and operating production data systems.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python, with the ability to learn other languages.
- Experience with modern data stacks on cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling and incremental processing.
- Commitment to data quality, lineage, and observability as engineering priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using AI and agentic coding tools in development processes.
