Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct simulation, testing, and evaluation of robotic and uncrewed systems across DoD operational domains and warfighter mission areas.
- Build software and hardware test environments for robotic capabilities involving sensing, autonomy, and human interaction.
- Develop and integrate Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop testing into embedded development environments.
- Design, automate, and execute test and regression processes, and analyze and visualize resulting log and telemetry data.
- Develop innovative solutions, work with limited direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer working primarily in Linux-based embedded or edge systems.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and integrating HIL and SIL testing into embedded development environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with test-driven development, including test design, automation, and regression testing.
- Experience analyzing and visualizing log file and telemetry data from testing.
- Experience with software package management and configuration management tools such as Conan and Nix.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a Robotics field.
- Preferred qualifications include UAS development experience involving flight controls, autonomous decision-making, and performance optimization; DevOps-oriented development and automation pipelines; and dashboards or automated reporting based on test data.
- A master’s degree is preferred and a doctorate in a relevant field is a plus.
