Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Command and Control applications and mission software for autonomous UAS.
- Research, develop, integrate, and deploy Ground Control Station software across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Create human-computer interfaces for DoW missions and objectives in collaboration with autonomy developers.
- Design extensible software using plugins, extensions, and modular design patterns.
- Develop applications using QGroundControl and support UAS mission planning or vehicle management.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems with limited direction.
- Mentor and supervise team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer working on Linux-based embedded or edge systems.
- At least 3 years of experience with extensible software development, including plugins, extensions, and modular design patterns.
- At least 1 year of experience developing applications using QGroundControl.
- Experience with software package management and configuration management tools such as Conan and Nix.
- Knowledge of the UAS domain, including mission planning or vehicle management.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics.
- Preferred qualifications include Tactical Assault Kit software development, user-interface workflow design, and development using automation tools, pipelines, and runners.
- A master’s degree is preferred and a doctorate is a plus in a listed relevant field.
