Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a self-service diagnostics panel for organization and tenant administrators.
- Implement directory features and develop unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Use metrics, logs, and telemetry to diagnose directory issues across Directory Service, SCIM integrations, and administrative UX flows.
- Improve observability for directory health signals through metrics, logging, and dashboards.
- Interpret product requirements and contribute to technical design documents using algorithms, data structures, APIs, and resource-management knowledge.
- Collaborate with Directory, UX, support, and partner engineering teams to deliver usable and reliable diagnostics workflows.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and design decisions and participate in sprint rituals, demos, and design reviews.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, with graduation in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or Go.
- Experience with at least one front-end or web technology such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking.
- Preferred qualifications include pursuing a B.S. in a related technical field and interest in identity, directory systems, and administrative or operational tooling.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to distributed systems, RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, telemetry and observability tools, collaborative software development practices, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
