Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with Zillow teams to solve real software problems and ship code.
- Own and tackle sophisticated technical problems.
- Collaborate with and learn from experienced developers through mentoring.
- Work across multiple functional areas and levels of the software stack.
- Use AI tools to build software and evaluate and refine AI-generated output.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong coding knowledge in Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
- Ability and interest to work across the software stack.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to build software, with judgment to evaluate and refine generated output.
- Unix operating system coding experience is strongly preferred.
Benefits
- Nine-week summer internship running June through August.
- Seattle-based hybrid schedule, generally working in person Tuesday through Thursday; the posting also describes office and remote work classifications and requires employees to live within reasonable commuting distance where applicable.
