Responsibilities
- Develop robust, well-designed software products and implement updates and features across frontend and backend systems.
- Solve complex business and client problems by writing quality code and applying software engineering knowledge.
- Participate in team meetings to scope, drive, and progress projects.
- Learn about Rippling’s business, clients’ needs, and the impact of engineering projects.
- Build relationships through intern, team, and company events.
Requirements
- Previous software engineering internship or co-op experience, specifically backend experience with Python and frontend experience using JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, with graduation after completion of the internship.
- Solid frontend programming skills with an emphasis on backend experience and knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to adapt, ask action-oriented questions, and continue learning and developing engineering skills.
