Base Salary

$78k - $164k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, test, debug, document, and maintain robust full-stack applications.
  • Refactor legacy code, improve operating efficiency, and adapt programs to new requirements while maintaining functionality.
  • Create program specifications, code, documentation, customer information, and application changes.
  • Analyze and resolve program errors and project-related problems involving technology, tools, methodologies, scheduling, and solution components.
  • Meet with clients and functional subject-matter experts to determine program requirements.
  • Participate in planning, artifact creation, testing, demonstrations, code reviews, and test automation or configuration-management efforts.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and affected departments to resolve program intent, requirements, and implementation questions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • At least five years of experience as a software developer and at least five years of full-stack development experience including some architecture.
  • Experience with a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Java, SQL, Node.js, Express, Python, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development and proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with continuous delivery pipelines, software development lifecycle processes, debugging, and code tracing.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and SecDevOps and the ability to follow development processes including sprint planning and code reviews.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Desired qualifications include experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, jOOQ, PostgreSQL, Git, Java, Java application servers, and Agile software development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and interface with customers.
