Base Salary
$130k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems.
- Develop Java-based software solutions and enterprise APIs using RESTful web services.
- Collaborate with engineers and customers to deliver software solutions that meet mission and client needs.
- Perform software testing, troubleshooting, and other assigned duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide onsite customer support in Augusta, GA.
Requirements
- Current Secret-level U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required; candidates with a current TS clearance may also be considered.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a related bachelor's degree, 3 years of relevant experience with a related master's degree, or 9 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Java, modern Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring and Guava, enterprise API design, RESTful web services, Linux, and configuration management tools such as Git, Nexus, and Maven.
- Experience with microservices architecture, object-oriented programming, software testing, troubleshooting, and agile software lifecycles.
- DoD 8570-compliant certification such as Security+ is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, collaboratively, under pressure, and across multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work at the customer site in Augusta, GA two to three days per week with schedule flexibility.
- Preferred experience includes NiFi, Kafka, AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, Azure, distributed databases, NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr, scripting, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub Enterprise.
