Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and translate enterprise business and technology requirements into commerce solution objectives and architectures.
- Design end-to-end digital commerce architectures spanning storefronts, order management, payments, loyalty, CPQ, ERP, PIM, DAM, CMS, CDP, analytics, and downstream systems.
- Create solution blueprints, reference models, integration patterns, implementation guardrails, and reusable commerce architecture assets.
- Define non-functional requirements for performance, reliability, scalability, resilience, observability, security, privacy, and data protection.
- Architect agentic commerce integrations involving consumer AI surfaces, merchant systems, UCP, A2A, MCP, APIs, and event-driven patterns.
- Design multi-agent commerce journeys covering discovery, inventory, loyalty, cart creation, checkout, post-purchase support, and human handoff.
- Lead pre-sales solution architecture, RFP responses, pursuit strategy, client workshops, delivery approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
- Advise clients on brand sovereignty, data ownership, customer experience, margin protection, and risks related to zero-click commerce.
- Develop thought leadership, presentations, whitepapers, playbooks, solution archetypes, and conference or partner materials.
- Mentor senior engineers, solution designers, and commerce architects while building a technical community of practice.
Requirements
- 12–18 years of professional experience in senior solution architecture, digital commerce, technical leadership, consulting, systems integration, or commerce-platform environments.
- At least 8 years of experience in commerce architecture, solutioning, technical leadership, or related roles supporting enterprise commerce environments.
- Extensive experience designing and delivering large-scale digital commerce architectures using modern platforms.
- Significant practical commerce implementation experience covering catalog modeling, order lifecycles, payment orchestration, tax and pricing rules, customer accounts, loyalty, and checkout.
- Proven experience with digital commerce solution architecture, multi-team engagements, and architectural governance from concept through deployment.
- Ability to work at executive blueprint level and detailed technical level with engineering and delivery teams.
- Demonstrated record of shaping, architecting, or winning complex enterprise commerce transformation programs.
- Preferred experience with cloud commerce platforms, composable commerce, MACH patterns, microservice-oriented architectures, and event-driven integration.
- Preferred exposure to analytics, personalization, recommendation engines, targeted promotions, experimentation frameworks, and commerce data strategies.
- Direct or adjacent experience with AI-agent frameworks, agentic system design, or AI-enabled commerce use cases is strongly preferred.
- Preferred credentials may include Google Cloud, Google Commerce, Gemini, Shopify Plus Partner, Salesforce, Adobe, SAP Commerce, or comparable commerce or cloud certifications.
