Base Salary

$79k - $119k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop object-oriented embedded software in C/C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Develop, debug, and test embedded real-time software.
  • Work in RTOS environments including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, and Yocto Linux.
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Develop systems for advanced missile defense spacecraft and interceptors.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve complex problems and innovate on national security technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience, or a master’s degree with 1 year of professional experience.
  • An additional 4+ years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance that is current and within scope at the time of application.
  • Experience with object-oriented C/C++ software development in Linux.
  • Experience with embedded real-time software development, debugging, and testing.
  • Experience with RTOS environments such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto Linux.
  • Preferred: master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Preferred: Top Secret clearance.
  • Preferred: directly related Guidance, Navigation, and Control experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
