Responsibilities
- Build manual and automated test plans from business requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for functional and non-functional use cases.
- Write code and modify existing test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, product managers, and stakeholders to support high-quality releases.
- Identify and document defects and work with development teams on timely resolution.
- Lead troubleshooting of issues in the QA environment.
- Analyze test logs, create test reports, and regularly update the manager on progress.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in software development, testing, and automation.
- Coding and analytical skills.
- Experience across a full project testing lifecycle, including test case creation, script development, manual testing, and automated testing.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with authentication and access management.
- Experience with manual testing, performance testing, test-log analysis, test reporting, and defect tracking.
- Experience with AWS, including cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience with common testing practices in an Agile project environment and the ability to collaborate and communicate clearly.
- Strong practical Linux and Bash scripting skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is preferred.
