Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases for regression and functional testing.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Contribute to testing activities within CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Review and improve test scripts, automation frameworks, and QA processes.
- Evaluate test coverage and validate business and technical requirements.
- Support performance and load testing when required.
- Prepare testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
- Manage and track defects through the software development lifecycle and coordinate resolutions with development teams.
- Act as a QA reference, mentor team members, promote testing best practices, and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong experience designing and executing manual test strategies for complex web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java for test automation.
- Experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
- Familiarity with Jira and Xray or similar test management tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred qualifications include test leadership or QA mentoring, performance or load testing, React- and Java-based application experience, large-scale or public-sector experience, and ISTQB or other relevant testing certification.
- Candidates must undergo a criminal background check before employment.
