Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and support of Generative AI platforms, services, and applications.
- Build components such as CLIs, SDKs, and supporting tooling using backend technologies including Golang.
- Write clean, tested, maintainable, and documented code and participate in code reviews and pair programming.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support LLM-based application integration and GenAI capabilities.
- Investigate bugs, respond to feedback, and improve product reliability and performance.
- Contribute to distributed-system design, cloud-native development, containerization, Kubernetes/OpenShift work, and validation as systems scale.
- Communicate technical challenges clearly, learn through mentorship, and identify opportunities to improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- Around 1–2 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with internships, substantial academic projects, or personal projects also considered.
- Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and coding practices.
- Exposure to Golang or another backend programming language and enthusiasm to deepen Golang expertise.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of React, TypeScript, REST APIs, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized applications.
- Familiarity with databases or data technologies such as MongoDB and Redis.
- Basic understanding of authentication concepts such as OAuth and JWT.
- Awareness of Large Language Models and Generative AI, with interest in RAG, context retrieval, fine-tuning, and LLM-based application development.
- Basic awareness of secure coding and application security practices.
- Exposure to Grafana, ELK, ETL concepts, data pipelines, vector stores, or AI infrastructure is advantageous but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, collaboration, and a proactive approach to learning.
