Responsibilities

Own video insights use cases from requirements analysis through production deployment.
Design and implement pipelines integrating video AI models with platform services and data infrastructure.
Build scalable distributed systems for processing large volumes of video content on cloud platforms.
Collaborate with research scientists, data engineers, and product managers on specifications and success metrics.
Build evaluation frameworks and dashboards for feature performance, user satisfaction, and business impact.
Optimize video processing workflows for performance, cost, latency, and quality.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and technical knowledge sharing.
Monitor, profile, and iteratively optimize deployed features.

Expert-level proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or C++.
Strong software engineering, architecture, system design, and scalable systems development fundamentals.
Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end machine learning pipelines in production.
Understanding of video processing technologies, codecs, containers, and streaming protocols such as HLS and DASH.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems, big data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency with data engineering tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow.
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model evaluation, feature engineering, and debugging ML systems.
Experience processing video or image data at scale.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
4–6 years of backend development experience.
Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
