Responsibilities
- Build and test LLM-powered AI applications, agents, and multi-step workflows.
- Write clean, documented Python code for AI workflows and API integrations.
- Test model outputs for accuracy, consistency, and clarity, and document issues.
- Prepare healthcare data including policies, claims, and clinical content for AI use.
- Handle personal and health information according to company and client privacy rules.
- Collaborate with product owners, clinical experts, and senior engineers on working solutions.
- Document experiments, designs, and results for reuse.
- Share progress and blockers with the manager and continue learning about AI tools and methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, AI, or a related technical field.
- Good Python skills and a basic understanding of machine learning and large language models.
- Hands-on AI project experience from work, an internship, academic work, or personal projects, demonstrated through code or a demo.
- Familiarity with at least one LLM tool or framework, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, or Azure OpenAI APIs.
- Comfort using Git and working in a Linux environment.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AI agent framework or workflow tool experience, cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, basic SQL and data handling skills, healthcare data or U.S. health plan exposure, familiarity with FHIR, and internship or project work building or testing LLM applications.
