Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision for intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time data processing, agentic AI, and machine learning capabilities.
- Lead architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations across the software development lifecycle.
- Design and build scalable microservices, data pipelines, distributed data platforms, agentic solutions, and networking-system integrations.
- Participate hands-on in design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and implementation.
- Mentor and develop engineers, establish technical direction, and foster engineering excellence.
- Build resilient, secure, observable, high-performance systems and improve architecture, processes, performance, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of complete software development lifecycle experience and at least 10 years of programming experience.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience designing systems for high-volume, high-velocity data with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and reliability requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems and convert them into production-ready solutions.
- Master’s or PhD preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes scalable event-driven microservices, real-time network data processing, generative AI and agentic systems, networking and observability platforms, and distributed processing technologies.
