Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production Kubernetes systems running on-premise and in public-cloud environments.
  • Automate and optimize team-operation tooling and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
  • Work according to GitOps practices and build and implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create and develop custom tools when existing FOSS solutions do not meet team requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical and business-critical issues from start to finish.
  • Participate in daily meetings and manage backlog tasks.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated real-world Linux experience, particularly with Ubuntu storage management, installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies including Docker and Containerd.
  • Daily experience using Git and Bash.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/UDP, HTTP, and SSL.
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Minimum B2 proficiency in English and Polish.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, public clouds such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, and on-premise Kubernetes is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Helm, Calico, GitLab/GitHub, Vault, Consul, BGP, Argo, Python, or Golang is advantageous.
