Responsibilities
- Run pre-training, post-training, and deployment of state-of-the-art robotics models on large clusters.
- Generate and curate image-text and video-text datasets.
- Build evaluators and benchmarks for perception, navigation, and manipulation tasks.
- Develop tools and frameworks for data generation, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with internal and external science, engineering, and product teams on complex use cases.
- Manage research projects and communications with client research teams.
Requirements
- Expertise with PyTorch or JAX.
- Experience with Vision Language Models, Vision-Language-Action models, perception, navigation, manipulation, and simulation tools such as Isaac Sim.
- Ability to write clean, readable, high-performance Python code.
- Track record of success through personal projects, professional projects, or academia.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a PhD or Master's degree in robotics or machine learning, robotics research experience, contributions to a large open-source or industry codebase, and publications in leading academic journals or conferences.
- Preferred experience includes improving existing code through typing, tests, and CI pipelines.
