Base Salary
$85k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features across the React frontend and TypeScript/Node.js backend.
- Work across migrations, APIs, interfaces, and tests while progressing toward end-to-end feature ownership.
- Use AI coding agents and take accountability for understanding and verifying their output.
- Write tests across the stack and treat verification as part of shipping.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews, including reviewing other engineers’ work.
- Build features that correctly handle protected health information, authentication, authorization, and audit logging.
Requirements
- Graduate with a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Have built independent projects, hackathon work, open-source contributions, or other projects with users.
- Have working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and comfort with React or Node.js.
- Have familiarity with relational databases and SQL and understand how a web request becomes a database query.
- Use AI coding tools and understand their limitations and how to verify their output.
- Be able to explain technical decisions and discuss what could have been done differently.
- Have clear written and verbal communication skills for design documents and pull request descriptions.
- Be authorized to work in the United States and able to be based in Miami.
- Preferred but not required: production internship or co-op experience; PostgreSQL, Express, or typed API layer experience; LLM or agent API projects; Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or similar testing experience; AWS or another cloud provider; healthcare data standards such as FHIR, HL7, or DICOM; and accessibility or internationalization experience.
