Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a diverse solution engineering team focused on demonstrations, technical proof requirements, and customer solution-design endorsement.
- Partner with Account Planning and Solution Specialist teams to identify, qualify, coordinate, and accelerate opportunities.
- Own technical win strategy and orchestrate team and partner activity to increase deal velocity and support revenue goals.
- Coach solution engineers on solution envisioning, business value assessments, customer demonstrations, competitive differentiation, and objection handling.
- Hire, retain, and develop presales talent capable of customer-centric demonstrations and solution architecture discussions.
- Guide customer proposal formalization and collaborate with partners and Customer Success on deployment plans and key performance indicators.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of technical presales or technical consulting experience, or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred 6+ years of technical presales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience.
- Preferred expert understanding and 1–2 years of experience leading technical sellers in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, or Government.
- Preferred 4+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, or technology management.
- Preferred deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications, including ERP and Finance & Operations, Sales & Services, and Contact Center as a Service.
- Preferred 3+ years of people-management experience, including leading virtual and diverse teams.
- Knowledge of business value selling methodologies, Microsoft cloud offerings, competitors, partners, and related ecosystems.
