Responsibilities
- Define and evolve architecture vision, roadmaps, target-state capabilities, standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
- Lead architecture governance, review boards, major design decisions, and alignment with enterprise principles and security requirements.
- Guide enterprise-scale modernization, cloud adoption, platform engineering, resilience, simplification, standardization, and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Develop and review conceptual, solution, and component-level architectures and associated artifacts.
- Advise executives and business leaders on technology strategy, investment prioritization, business cases, and roadmap decisions.
- Partner with engineering, product, risk, security, and operations stakeholders to drive alignment across the organization.
- Lead and mentor teams of solution, business, data, and platform architects.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive technology experience.
- At least 3 years in enterprise architecture or principal architecture leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale modernization programs.
- Strong executive communication, influencing, governance, and organizational alignment skills.
- Preferred: financial services or highly regulated industry experience.
- Preferred: experience with AI, digital platforms, data architecture, and technology resilience.
- Preferred: architecture certifications such as TOGAF or cloud certifications.
