Base Salary

$76k - $162k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with public sector organizations to support and resolve complex GitLab issues.
  • Troubleshoot customer environments as a hands-on Linux administrator.
  • Partner with Product and Development teams to clarify bug reports and contribute to product improvements.
  • Create and update documentation based on customer interactions.
  • Participate in pairing sessions with other Support Engineers to share knowledge.
  • Contribute to building internal support tools and workflows.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency support.
  • Support team growth by reviewing applications and participating in hiring discussions.

Requirements

  • Must be a United States Citizen due to government security requirements.
  • Experience managing customer-facing cases across the full support lifecycle.
  • Strong Linux systems administration knowledge.
  • Ability to use scripting languages like Ruby or Bash.
  • Practical experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and container orchestration technologies.
  • Understanding of information security and compliance concepts.
