Forward Deployed Engineer, Hebrew speaker
CloudflareResponsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated technical partner embedded in a strategic customer’s engineering organization.
- Design, build, and deploy production-ready code and configurations using the Cloudflare platform.
- Own the account’s technical success across Cloudflare’s product portfolio and direct supporting technical resources.
- Participate in customer standups, design reviews, and real-time incident response.
- Drive adoption of Cloudflare services across the customer’s technology stack.
- Provide technical depth across application development, Cloudflare products, security, networking, and observability.
- Surface customer edge cases and product gaps to Cloudflare Product and Engineering teams.
- Build trusted relationships with Staff+ engineers, Directors, and VPs.
- Maintain a regular on-site presence at customer locations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building production systems with modern languages including Go, Rust, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience owning mission-critical services, on-call rotations, incident response, and high-availability systems.
- Current hands-on development experience with modern frameworks, languages, and deployment patterns.
- Broad technical fluency across frontend performance, backend logic, database optimization, and distributed infrastructure.
- Experience integrating AI-augmented development workflows, such as Windsurf or OpenCode.
- Ability to design scalable and resilient architectures from complex business requirements.
- Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider—AWS, GCP, or Azure—including serverless, networking, and security primitives.
- Ability to independently identify and own solutions in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs and business impact with VP-level stakeholders.
- Fluency in Hebrew and English.
- Cloudflare Workers or broader Cloudflare Developer Platform experience is preferred.
- Startup, customer-facing engineering, partner-codebase, open-source, technical blogging, or conference-speaking experience is preferred.
