Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers for approximately 30% of the role.
- Spend 70–80% of the role on hands-on coding and technical implementation.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, integrations, and workflow automations.
- Build Knowledge Graph integrations connecting DevRev with SaaS and non-SaaS systems.
- Implement data synchronization, APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures.
- Optimize AI agents using prompt engineering, semantic search tuning, generative AI techniques, and evaluation methods.
- Write SQL queries, analyze data, and build dashboards for customer insights.
- Create proofs of concept, conduct live technical demonstrations, and iterate based on feedback.
- Collaborate with customers, engineering, product, customer success, support, and revenue teams.
- Guide customers through code repository integrations, workflows, and advanced configurations.
- Travel up to 80% for on-site implementations, technical workshops, and customer engagements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and Python, with knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and building evaluations for agentic AI solutions.
- Deep experience with large-scale one-way and two-way data synchronization and API integration patterns.
- Experience with event-driven and publish/subscribe architectures.
- Hands-on deployment experience with AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions.
- Experience with data mapping, schema alignment, heterogeneous systems, data modeling, and graph data structures.
- Experience implementing logging, error surfacing, and telemetry for observability and debugging.
- Familiarity with Model Context Programming for adaptive, context-aware integrations.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-facing experience is preferred.
- Go experience is a preferred qualification.
