Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and operationalize agentic AI workflows, assistants, automations, and integrations in customer ServiceNow and enterprise environments.
- Translate customer requirements and business processes into technical architectures, implementation plans, and production-ready AI solutions.
- Build Claude and Anthropic API applications using prompt/context engineering, RAG, tool use, structured outputs, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Develop prototypes, demonstrations, reusable implementation assets, integrations, prompt libraries, and AI solution accelerators.
- Build secure full-stack integrations among ServiceNow, enterprise systems, APIs, data platforms, identity systems, document repositories, databases, and AI services.
- Evaluate, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI solutions for relevance, accuracy, groundedness, safety, latency, cost, reliability, and user experience.
- Implement safeguards for sensitive data, permissions, prompt injection, unsafe tool use, model behavior, and high-impact or low-confidence decisions.
- Contribute customer-derived requirements, reusable components, evaluation frameworks, standards, and product feedback to NewRocket’s AI platforms and Agent Packs.
- Collaborate with consultants, product engineers, data engineers, AI/ML engineers, ServiceNow teams, customers, and the AI Center of Excellence.
- Support discovery sessions, workshops, technical working sessions, pilots, demonstrations, rollouts, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, enterprise platforms, workflow automation, or related technical delivery roles.
- Hands-on engineering experience with full-stack development, scripting, APIs, microservices, enterprise integrations, or cloud-native applications.
- Experience building, deploying, or supporting AI/LLM-powered applications, conversational experiences, RAG systems, AI automations, or agentic workflows.
- Production experience integrating APIs, enterprise applications, data platforms, or workflow systems.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar programming and scripting languages.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, context windows, token usage, embeddings, vector search, RAG, tool use/function calling, structured outputs, and model evaluation.
- Understanding of responsible AI, hallucination mitigation, sensitive-data handling, identity and access controls, human oversight, AI safety, and secure AI deployment.
- Experience in customer-facing engineering, consulting, technical implementation, solutions architecture, or professional-services roles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and business stakeholders, manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, travel approximately 25%, and deliver in fast-moving environments.
- Preferred: experience with the Anthropic API, Claude models, Anthropic Console, Claude Code, Anthropic Academy or partner training, and Model Context Protocol.
- Preferred: ServiceNow development, configuration, workflow automation, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, AI Agents, CMDB, ITSM, CSM, HRSD, knowledge management, and enterprise workflow concepts.
- Preferred: experience with AI prototypes, semantic search, vector databases, document ingestion, chunking, retrieval strategies, AI observability, tracing, evaluation frameworks, prompt/version management, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Preferred: familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Docker, CI/CD, SQL, Git, infrastructure-as-code, and secure cloud deployment practices.
