Base Salary
$141k - $228k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded networking firmware for Linux- and Android-based platforms.
- Build high-performance, mission-critical devices with low-latency communication requirements.
- Contribute to robust imaging and communication products for public safety use cases.
- Work on a small team shaping an early-stage Axon 911 product.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience with Embedded Android and/or Embedded Linux development.
- Solid programming experience with C, C++, and/or Rust.
- Hands-on expertise in real-time media architecture and demonstrated success meeting strict latency budgets.
- Experience with QoS frameworks and media signaling.
- Systems-level edge development experience building software for rugged, resource-constrained embedded devices.
- Ability to work with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity in an early-stage, new product environment.
- Experience working on networking in a constrained embedded device is a bonus.
- Ability to tune cellular networks is a bonus.
