Base Salary
$130k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build polished, high-converting purchasing experiences for digital memberships, courses, and content.
- Develop and maintain applications using a Ruby on Rails backend and React and Next.js front ends.
- Implement Next.js SSR/SSG, routing, and performance optimization best practices.
- Improve codebase quality, development processes, and architecture.
- Collaborate with company leaders during feature design and with designers to create intuitive user experiences.
- Prioritize rapid iteration while maintaining code and user-experience quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack engineer working on complex web applications at significant scale.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL or PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind.
- Experience with both frontend and backend development.
- Experience working on a fully distributed remote team.
- Proficiency in English at CEFR Level C2 or ILR Level 5.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, autonomy, and accountability.
- Bonus: experience with creator platforms, social content and video feeds, marketplaces, A/B testing, experimentation, search, recommendation, personalization, or high-traffic React/Next.js systems.
