Base Salary
$130k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build polished, high-converting purchasing experiences for digital memberships, courses, and content.
- Develop and maintain applications using a Ruby on Rails backend and React and Next.js front ends.
- Implement Next.js routing, server-side rendering, static site generation, and performance optimization.
- Improve codebase quality, development processes, and application architecture.
- Collaborate with company leaders and designers throughout feature design and delivery.
- Balance rapid iteration with high standards for code quality and user experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack engineer working on complex, high-scale web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL or PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind.
- Experience working on fully distributed remote teams.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with English proficiency at CEFR C2 or ILR 5.
- Ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively, operate in ambiguity, and maintain high code and user-experience quality.
- Bonus: experience with creator platforms, social content or video feeds, marketplaces, A/B testing, search, recommendations, personalization, or high-traffic hybrid React/Next.js systems.
