Base Salary
$142k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve services, infrastructure, and developer tooling for continuous integration, ephemeral environments, and automated testing.
- Develop scalable Kubernetes- and AWS-based self-service capabilities for production-like development environments.
- Build shared infrastructure for test execution, orchestration, environment setup, and results.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency through durable software and infrastructure improvements.
- Replace manual developer workflows with reusable APIs, automation, and platform capabilities.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and identify AI-enabled workflows that improve developer productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience developing production software with one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software or infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, continuous integration systems, developer tooling, or backend services.
- Ability to independently deliver well-scoped engineering projects from technical design through production operation.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools across multiple stages of the software engineering lifecycle.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes control-plane engineering, AWS, containers, infrastructure as code, developer platforms, test infrastructure, APIs, command-line tools, test orchestration, automation, or AI-enabled developer workflows.
