Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and development tools.
- Maintain ownership of a robust, observable, stable, and performant CI/CD stack.
- Research, implement, and develop tools that help developers write new code.
- Ensure CI/CD infrastructure and processes are reliable and consistent.
- Contribute directly to product feature development while maintaining connection to the product.
- Optimize CI build times and development and build processes.
Requirements
- Solid Linux background.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD stacks.
- Working proficiency with Ruby, JavaScript, or Python.
- Knowledge of AWS technologies including EC2, load balancing, auto-scaling, IAM, S3, and Route 53.
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, RSpec, Cypress, or Playwright for CI build-time optimization.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or ClickHouse.
- Experience with build systems such as Webpack or Gradle.
- Proficiency with CI tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
