Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy system enhancements for valuation services applications.
- Build data-processing solutions, APIs, and interactive data visualizations.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, debugging, and peer code reviews.
- Participate in proof-of-concepts, document findings, and evaluate new technologies.
- Maintain processes for issue prevention, troubleshoot application defects, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Work with business partners to define detailed requirements and respond to business and user enquiries.
- Document system implementation and code deployment plans and provide usability recommendations.
- Apply standard security coding practices and contribute to quality improvement.
- Use the software development and project management methodologies required to complete development tasks.
Requirements
- Be a penultimate-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
- Be available for the full-time six-month internship from January through July 2027.
- Have an unrestricted right to work in Ireland throughout the internship.
- Demonstrate strong Python coding, debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills, including familiarity with Pytest.
- Have familiarity with source code management tools such as Git.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
- Be able to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment under time pressure.
- Experience with databases, SQL, API design, gRPC, FastAPI, cloud technologies, and microservices architectures is considered an asset.
