Responsibilities
- Complete a variety of challenging software development projects
- Improve the scalability, performance, and efficiency of proprietary trading systems
- Learn how to design and architect trading systems for scale
- Support the large volumes of data flowing through Virtu’s trading systems
- Work with senior mentors on real trading and quantitative problems
Requirements
- Excellent academic background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to identify issues and create solutions without rigid direction
- Highly motivated and tenacious, with the ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team
- Authentic team player capable of working toward collective goals
- Graduating year of 2028
