Responsibilities
- Complete assigned technical projects and incorporate feedback from mentors, managers, and peers.
- Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end that contribute to Pinterest products and infrastructure.
- Deliver well-documented, tested, and operable code.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and data teams on production-oriented projects.
- Develop technical and professional skills through learning opportunities and participate in intern program events.
- Use AI-assisted software development tools responsibly, validating outputs through testing, review, and engineering judgment.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a school or education program while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Obtain a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field by June 2028.
- Demonstrate understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Have experience with one or more of Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++.
- Have familiarity with relevant frameworks, tools, or technologies such as React or similar; technical requirements vary by team.
- Demonstrate non-academic coding experience through hackathons, coding challenges, personal projects, GitHub, open source, volunteer coding, conference participation, or similar activities.
- Be familiar with AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool and exercise judgment regarding accuracy, security, and when to seek help.
- Show curiosity and an interest in solving complex problems.
