Base Salary
$120k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development life cycle from conception through deployment.
- Design and develop full-stack web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Build usable and performant web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS.
- Design and develop microservices using reactive patterns.
- Process XML and JSON data and work with web services and application messaging technologies.
- Analyze and tune code and application performance for high-volume and high-availability environments.
- Design databases, write and tune queries, and work with SQL/RDBMS and NoSQL systems.
- Develop data pipelines using Apache Spark or Apache Flink when applicable.
- Deploy applications on Linux/UNIX systems and support cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Translate business requirements into working software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with cloud platform services and application development using Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Extensive experience with web services, JMS, MQ, MDBs, Spring Boot, XML/JSON processing, Ajax, and Spring reactive programming.
- Experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS.
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Cassandra, SQL/RDBMS, database design, and query tuning.
- Experience analyzing and tuning application performance in high-volume and high-availability environments.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and application deployment practices.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Kubernetes, PCF, containerization, and API management.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools including PCF, Jenkins, and AKS.
- Preferred experience designing and building data pipelines using Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and JMeter is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with networking, caching, CMS, CDN technologies, private or hybrid cloud, IaaS, and PaaS technologies.
- Mobile and UI technology experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and collaboration skills.
