Responsibilities
- Develop robust error-handling mechanisms for applications.
- Implement logging and monitoring solutions for error detection.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues for efficient resolutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet business needs.
- Optimize Java Virtual Machine sizing for performance.
- Manage application configurations and version control.
- Work with cloud-based solutions and containerization technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
- Experience in designing and maintaining high-volume Java applications.
- Familiarity with distributed computing tools like HDFS and Spark.
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and build tools such as Gradle and Kubernetes.
- Solid experience with Java, Spring framework, and RESTful API development.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of NoSQL technologies.
- Some experience with Python or Spark/PySpark development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Ability to work PST hours and participate in on-call rotations.
