Responsibilities
- Develop robust error-handling mechanisms to improve application resilience.
- Implement logging and monitoring solutions for timely error detection and resolution.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues to provide efficient resolutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Optimize JVM sizing for performance and resource utilization.
- Manage application configurations and version control.
- Work with cloud-based solutions and containerization technologies to deploy and scale applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining high-volume, low-latency Java applications.
- Experience with HDFS, Spark, and batch or analytics pipelines on Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Gradle, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes in CI/CD and build workflows.
- Experience with Java, Spring, and RESTful API design and development.
- Strong experience writing and reading complex SQL queries and understanding NoSQL technologies, especially HBase and PostgreSQL.
- Some experience with Python or Spark/PySpark development using Java, Python, or Scala.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Ability to work PST hours and participate in weekend on-call rotations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Benefits
