Base Salary
$40 - $55/yr
Responsibilities
- Triage and analyze incoming security issues and support the Vulnerability Management program.
- Improve identity and access management workflows and audit access controls for data platforms and cloud resources.
- Integrate automated security checks into CI/CD workflows to support secure development practices.
- Operate and optimize the SIEM platform by tuning alerts, improving log ingestion, and building lightweight automations.
- Support cybersecurity tabletop exercises, document findings, and contribute to security tool research and internal documentation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in cloud security, data security, and security operations.
- Basic understanding of GCP, AWS, or Azure and foundational database concepts including SQL or data warehousing.
- Ability to integrate AI tools and local LLM agents such as Cursor or Claude Code into technical workflows.
- Strong ownership, initiative, analytical ability, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills.
