Base Salary
$350k - $850k/yr
Responsibilities
- Invent, design, and implement reinforcement-learning environments and evaluations
- Conduct experiments and shape the research roadmap
- Deliver research and engineering work into training runs
- Use accelerator-performance knowledge to create tasks and learning signals for models
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and performance-engineering specialists
Requirements
- Expertise with accelerators such as CUDA, ROCm, Triton, or Pallas
- Experience with ML framework programming in JAX or PyTorch
- Experience across kernels, model code, and distributed systems
- Ability to balance research exploration with engineering implementation
- Commitment to developing safe and beneficial AI systems
- Experience with reinforcement learning is a plus
- Experience porting ML workloads across accelerator types is a plus
- Familiarity with LLM training methodologies is a plus
- At least a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
