Base Salary
$230k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps and DevSecOps architecture, platform design, implementation, sustainment, and modernization across multiple enterprise projects.
- Design and maintain secure cloud-native platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code solutions, Kubernetes deployments, Helm charts, and automated testing and deployment strategies.
- Improve developer experience and onboard developers and application teams to the platform.
- Manage platform performance, availability, scalability, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous optimization.
- Establish DevSecOps standards, processes, governance, and secure practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions while mentoring developers and junior engineers.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and program leadership on requirements, technical roadmaps, modernization strategies, proposal development, and solution architecture.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain or maintain TS/SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related STEM or technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise DevOps and DevSecOps environments, including technical-lead or SME experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and deploying cloud-native solutions in Amazon Web Services and at least 2 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform, Crossplane, Python, Keycloak, AWS cloud services, and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Experience with container security, vulnerability scanning, container hardening, secure SDLC practices, software and architecture reviews, automation, and highly available AWS applications.
- Preferred qualifications include TS/SCI clearance, DoD cloud modernization experience, platform engineering and Internal Developer Platform experience, Zero Trust architecture experience, Redis, AWS Load Balancing, Apache Airflow, Jira, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Amazon Linux, Bash, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
